Overview
The 2026 annual Pediatric Symposium features experts in the pediatric field discussing topics that directly impact our youngest patients.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Describe current evidence-based concepts and updated recommendations related to core pediatric topics, including vaccinations, cardiology, infectious diseases, hematology, neurology, and behavioral health.
  2. Explain the clinical features, risk factors, and diagnostic considerations for common and emergent pediatric conditions presented during the symposium.
  3. Summarize key advances, guidelines, and expert perspectives discussed in the sessions to enhance understanding of contemporary pediatric practice.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Attendees will improve their ability to recognize and manage population-specific illnesses using evidence-based approaches, with 90% of participants reporting increased confidence in the post-conference evaluations.
  2. Through the post-evaluation, at least 90% of attendees will report the ability to implement into practice methods learned through patient-child interaction therapy.

Accreditation

The Mississippi State Medical Association is a member of the Southern States CME Collaborative (SSCC).  North Mississippi Medical Center is accredited by the SSCC to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

NMMC designates this Live Activity course for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
