The Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Conference is a weekly, multidisciplinary educational forum attended by cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and members of the cardiovascular care team. Through structured review of complex cases and collaborative interpretation of cardiac catheterization, echo and CT imaging, participants work together to inform patient-centered, evidence-based treatment decisions. This activity fosters interdisciplinary communication and continuous professional development. 

1. Apply collaborative communication and shared decision-making strategies from case discussions to improve patient outcomes in clinical practice.
2. Identify and interpret key cardiovascular imaging findings that inform procedural selection and treatment planning.
3. Incorporate interdisciplinary recommendations from Cath conference case discussions into clinical management decisions.

1. After participating in case discussions, the interdisciplinary team will be able to interpret key cardiovascular imaging findings and apply them to procedural selection and treatment planning.

NMMC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.  This activity has been awarded for 1.00 contact hour(s). CE#00192-EDI-2416.

Cancellation Policy
