Maternal Hypertension

Discussion on the presentation and management of maternal hypertension in the emergency department.

1. Understand the hypertensive disorders that are associated with pregnancy.
2. Identify the diagnostic criteria and clinical signs of preeclampsia.
3. Discuss the clinical presentation, management and disposition of patients with preeclampsia, HELLP syndrome, and eclampsia.
