NMHS Provider Onboarding Telemedicine

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (1.75 hours), American Nurses Credentialing Center (1.75 hours), Mississippi Nursing Foundation (1.75 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (1.75 hours)

Provider onboarding involves more than just completing paperwork and ensuring compliance with regulations. It requires planning, education, and communication to create a successful experience for the facility and the physician. This onboarding is required of all new providers.

1. Recognize key system stakeholders and basic information about system processes at NMHS.
2. Associate the provider role with outlined system processes.

Completion Requirements: 
You must complete the evaluation in order to receive acknowledgement of learning completion.  To access the evaluation, click on "MyCME" - "Evaluations and Certificates".  

The Mississippi State Medical Association is a member of the Southern States CME Collaborative (SSCC).  North Mississippi Medical Center is accredited by the SSCC to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

NMMC designates this Enduring Material course for a maximum of 1.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

NMMC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Mississippi Nurses Foundation, Inc., an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Centers Commission on Accreditation.  This activity has been approved for 1.75 contact hour(s). CE#00192-EDII-2190.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to North Mississippi Health Services at [email protected].

North Mississippi Health Services reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
