Provide a collaborative forum for the healthcare team to review cases, discuss findings and improve care of the stroke patient. The content frequently evolves based on treatment plans that are evidence based and compliant with state/national goals/standards of care which seek to standardize care and improve outcomes.

NMHS CME Program will award ABIM Medical Knowledge (Part II) MOC credit for participation in Stroke Committee 2026. Eligible participants will earn 1.0 MOC point in the Medical Knowledge Category.  

To claim MOC Credit, participants must:

• Complete the course evaluation at the end of the activity.

• Ensure their CME profile includes accurate date of birth and board ID number.  

Upon successful completion, NMHS CME Program will report your participation and MOC points to ABIM through ACCME’s PARS system. The following information will be shared: name, date of birth, board ID, and completion status.  

1. Review current standards of practice that are evidence-based, compliant with national standards of care and reflective of performance improvement in the stroke patient.
2. Analyze and apply treatment interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve quality of care.
3. Assess current issues and formulate performance improvement opportunities to improve quality of care.

1. Through case reviews, learners will apply evidence-based standards of practice that align with national care guidelines, leading to measurable improvements in stroke patient outcomes.
2. All learners will improve patients’ quality of care by assessing current issues and formulating performance improvement opportunities as evidenced by positive reporting to organizational performance.

The Mississippi State Medical Association is a member of the Southern States CME Collaborative (SSCC).  North Mississippi Medical Center is accredited by the SSCC to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 
NMMC designates this Live Activity course for a maximum of 1.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
