Overview
Provide a collaborative forum for the healthcare team to review cases, discuss findings and use state of the art diagnostics, imaging modalities, staging and tumor genetics to individualize survival, reduce risks of complications and improve the quality of life.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Review recent advances that can improve remission to include state of the art imaging, appropriate staging and tumor genetics.
  2. Utilize diagnostics, imaging modalities, staging & tumor genetics to individualize survival risks of complications and improve the quality of life.
  3. Analyze and formulate treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve survival, reduce risks of complications and improve quality of life in the breast cancer patient.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. All learners will have participated in a continual review of recent advances that can improve remission to include state of the art imaging, appropriate staging and tumor genetics and will report incorporation into practice.
  2. All learners will report increased knowledge of diagnostics, imaging modalities, staging & tumor genetics to individualize survival risks of complications and improve the quality of life.
  3. All learners will report incorporating treatment plans into practice as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve survival, reduce risks of complications and improve quality of life in the breast cancer patient.

The Mississippi State Medical Association is a member of the Southern States CME Collaborative (SSCC).  North Mississippi Medical Center is accredited by the SSCC to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
